2 tracks or more in one map

Hello,

this is a feature i would like myself (although i personally don't need it),
and it has been requested several times by various users.

The bad news is: it is far from easy to implement with the
current code, basically it would mean a re-write of large
parts of it.

The processing of several tracks for the extraction of statistical
data and rendering would even be the "easier" part here.

The concept of the layout templates is now pretty flexible,
but i can not really imagine how it would fit with 1..n tracks.

Next problem: the invocation code, combined with the parameter presets,
is built for a single GPX file. The syntax you suggest would work
without parameter overrides, but not with them.

A rather stupid, but essential problem is that the comma is used
to separate parameter overrides, so it can't be used to separate
several track files.

Finding a different separator is not easy, because lots of the
characters can already be in parts of the parameter overrides,
which makes correct parsing of complex invocation codes pretty
difficult.

I think you get an idea that it is not an easy thing to accomplish,
and added to all that i only have very little free time at the moment.

All of that said, it is Open Source, so if you (or anyone else) would
be willing to develop a concept, and program the necessary changes to
the plugin - feel free! I would be delighted if someone could take
on the task, but i can not do it right now.

Sorry if this is dissapointing news for you, but i'm trying to be
honest with you, and hope you appreciate that.

cheers, Frank

Hello,

I'm wondering if I can make a feature request that will be gorgeous: view a set of gpx files in one map.

With the command
{gpxtrackmap}map1.gpx, map2.gpx,map3.gpx,...,mapn.gpx{/gpxtrackmap}

The map must show:
1.All routes with diferent colors (n can be a fixed number, but I understand that it can be tricky for choosing the colors)
2. Summarized elevation and speed graphics.

It's possible something like this?

Thanks in advance.
