Hi Sergio,

you can download the second track from the examples page on the left. It contains only numbers as waypoint names, but is good enough to try it.

I can't view the waypoint and the popups
someone could give me a file that works with waypoint

Hi again,

i use waypoints a lot myself to mark spots on tracks (and find them back later on), so i investigated the Openlayers popup stuff. Seems i have it working now :cheer: - really nice!



Here is the documentation on how to enable and use it.

(you need the new V1.2 release from the downloads section on the left)

Let us know how it works!

Hi Midhat,

sorry, but currently the waypoints can only be shown on the map as dots on the track. The Openlayers API supports popups, that could be used for that, like in this example:

openlayers.org/dev/examples/light-basic.html

...but i haven't yet implemented this in the plugin. I'll think about implementing it, but i can't give a timeframe right now...
