Thanks! I've not investigated all the new features in 5 yet, apparently :/

Hi there,

at the moment there is no function or code in the plugin to do this -
The plugin needs a gpx track file to display.

However, in HTML5 there is a standard function to obtain the visitor's
geolocation, given he is using a device equipped with GPS; see here:

www.w3schools.com/htmL/html5_geolocation.asp

So it may be doable, but i can't see how this would fit in with
displaying a gpx track - the visitor's position could be on the
other side of the world...

cheers, Frank

Can this extension be used as a real-time geolocation display for users to see themselves on a custom map? I'm unfamiliar with mobile apps or "web"-apps that utilize geolocation - can one pull metadata for GPS the same way as screen size or browser being used? Seems that would be handy for the mobile friendly website I have in mind . . .

Is there a reference where I could see examples of the syntax, etc. if it is necessary to custom code the template?
