thanks for the link - this is easy to solve:

Go to the plugin options, open the tab "advanced options"
and set "use jQuery" to "yes" - save the options and it should work.

(the plugin was developed when Joomla used the mootools
library, the newer versions use the jQuery library instead.)

- the plugin is active
- configuration => site => default editor: No WYSIWYG
- article => only: {gpxtrackmap}track.gpx{/gpxtrackmap}
- images/gpxtracks: track.gpx + track.zip
- no modification in the plugin

I tested versions 1.3.3 and 1.4.1
The problem is the same

By F12, I do not know how to find what is missing

i just updated this site to Joomla 3.8.3 - as you can see, the plugin is working
So there must be soemthing else wrong with your site.

Can you post a link where i can have a look?
In Chrome or Firefox, you can hit F12 and reload the page.
The console usually gives you error messages that can help to find the problem.
