Change view of popup

But I prefer this view, centered pointer and centered above or below the waypoint (like popups when using Leaflet instead of OpenLayers for viewing maps)
But I don't know how to achieve this. Maybe someone can help me out.
I like the use of popups when hovering or clicking waypoints but the view and position of the popup I would like to change.
Currently with OpenLayers it looks like this:
